This is a shepherd's crook that usually holds one of our bird feeders, but on this day it held a fringe of "hoarfrost". You can see the trees in the back as well are covered with these needle-like spikes of frozen condensation. It's really beautiful, though the charm of this winter is wearing thin! Three blizzards, and is it two or three ice storms and counting.

We have been frozen in so very many ways - physically and emotionally. To our loving family and dear friends, we can't thank you enough for all the love, support, and prayers that have sustained us through some very trying weeks. Most importantly we thank you for the prayers and support for our DD and say again that she is doing great - really great! God's grace in her young life is truly astounding. She'll turn 20 in just a couple of weeks, but she is an old soul for sure. Lately it would have been easy to succumb to the mood of a harsh, icy landscape and the relentless assault of winter weather, but just look at the intense blue sky behind these frozen tree branches!

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace. (Helen Lemmel)

Listen to this refrain on YouTube- it's uplifting! Thank you all again, for your love for us. The more experiences we have, the less we take that love for granted. You make our hearts full.
